Alex Isaksson charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Isaksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Alex Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Rune Sander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt Abrahamsson. Sledgehammer KO's Sonny Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Isaksson in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Pontus Törnqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mosjö Sportklubb's Rune Sander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mosjö Sportklubb from getting a goal against them. Stig-Arne Classon's late challenge caught a Sledgehammer KO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Classon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Mosjö Sportklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Classon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Lundgren in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Gottfrid Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sledgehammer KO's Sonny Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Stolpe in the 25th minute of play. Gustav Sundberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rune Sander could save by the left post. In the 31st match minute, Sledgehammer KO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Leif Stolpe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sledgehammer KO's Sonny Holm. Sonny Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute of the match Tony Gregersson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Sander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Gottfrid Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Mosjö Sportklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes, Folke Isaksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosjö Sportklubb and the Sledgehammer KO players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Gustav Sundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sonny Holm made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Folke Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Abrahamsson in the 84th minute of play forced Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Rune Sander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes, Mosjö Sportklubb's Alex Isaksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sonny Holm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mosjö Sportklubb reached it. The supporters of Mosjö Sportklubb booed when Sledgehammer KO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Wikander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Stolpe in the 92nd minute of the match. Rune Sander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 94th match minute, Mosjö Sportklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Ekström to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
