Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dedê Cerezo kicked off to start the match. If Fabio Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gordon Nazario fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florida Gulf Coast's protests and gave Gordon Nazario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Nazario to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida Gulf Coast's Gordon Nazario. But to his dismay, Gordon Nazario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Chulapa in the 13th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Valladares took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Geofredo. Lucio Geofredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Flavio Lauren hit a great ball. Lucio Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Cerezo in the 22nd minute of the match. Lucio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the game, Cristiano Furtado landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Divina Comédia FC made a substitution. Hortêncio Viana replaced Cristiano Furtado. After 25 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Tiadoro. Váldson Lopes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucio Geofredo. Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gordon Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. Fabio Jerico took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After having played for 37 minutes, Fabio Jerico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Jerico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Aloísio Chulapa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Geofredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Paraense in the 44th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Divina Comédia FC's Dedê Cerezo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Geofredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gordon Nazario to make the kick off. Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Nazario in the 51st minute of play. Fabio Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Jerico in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Nazario came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Jerico took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 65th minute, Flavio Lauren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Lucio Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorian Valladares in the 70th minute. Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Florida Gulf Coast from getting a goal against them. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Nazario in the 78th minute of the match. Lucio Geofredo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Aloísio Chulapa sent off a good shot on target. Pedrão Paraense in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucio Geofredo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Enrique Tiadoro hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Divina Comédia FC's Váldson Lopes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Divina Comédia FC reached it. If Gordon Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Florida Gulf Coast fans cheered their team off the field, for while Divina Comédia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
