The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Brasil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leo Karlo. Edmílson de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Geofredo having to interfere. Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Cunha in the 28th minute of play. Matias Eli charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Eli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Matias Eli. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edmílson de Brito sped through Florida Gulf Coast's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucio Geofredo. In the 44th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Senna to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Leo Karlo from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Gustavo Brasil's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ciro Corderun hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enéas Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Botelho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucio Geofredo. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. If Enéas Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Tiadoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gustavo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Vianna hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gustavo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Lucas Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lucio Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Enéas Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Aurelio Erruki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gustavo Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Geofredo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Erruki in the 84th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enéas Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson de Brito. Lucas Botelho's late challenge caught a Florida Gulf Coast's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Botelho to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Edmílson de Brito took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Lucio Geofredo to make any attempt to save it. The Florida Gulf Coast supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belotaurus FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Belotaurus FC.
