Orlando Leoiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Edmílson de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belotaurus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Leoiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Lucas Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson de Brito in the 25th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Orlando Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Jaume charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruninho Trevisan got free with Orlando Leoiar in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Leoiar came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Belotaurus FC's Enéas Cunha. But to his dismay, Enéas Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Orlando Leoiar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmílson de Brito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Enéas Cunha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 38th playminute. 44 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson de Brito came free, but Orlando Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Celino came free, but Gustavo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enéas Cunha to make the kick off. Equipo's Alonzo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Equipo booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Cunha in the 62nd minute of play. Equipo's Orlando Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson de Brito in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Enéas Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Leoiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Aloísio Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Orlando Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Oriol to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Botelho in the 81st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Edmílson de Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belotaurus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Belotaurus FC fully deserved thier win.
