Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gordon Nazario started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Stelian Voineag got control of the ball when Aurelio Erruki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Jerico to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Fabio Jerico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stelian Voineag. Fabio Jerico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Stelian Voineag was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Jerico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 12 minute of play. Gordon Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Popa charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costică Popa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Costică Popa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Iustin Hănescu hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Cazimir Traian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Ilie Velicu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Raureni Academy's zone, Aurelio Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Voineag came out of the goal and Aurelio Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Stelian Voineag had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Erruki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Corderun in the 39th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Stelian Voineag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes in the game, Gordon Nazario fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stelian Voineag having to interfere. Raureni Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Fabio Jerico scored to the left of an out of position Stelian Voineag, making the score, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Fabio Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelian Voineag. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelian Voineag should have stopped the shot. Stelian Voineag came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico. But to his dismay, Fabio Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 60th minute, Fabio Jerico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Voineag was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Erruki during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lucio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes of play, Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Voineag was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 70 played minutes Raureni Academy got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Nicolaescu. In the 71st minute of the match Fidel Maureo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stelian Voineag showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gordon Nazario took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stelian Voineag. Stelian Voineag dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 79th minute, Fabio Jerico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 82 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Jerico came free, but Stelian Voineag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stelian Voineag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Gordon Nazario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
