Alvaro Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldırım Yaman having to interfere. Jose Vitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evren Tanfer went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Aras Daman took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jose Vitin to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, Jeremias Enol notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman. Yıldırım Yaman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tuncer İribaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Jose Vitin got control of the ball when Tuncer İribaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Jose Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evren Tanfer in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fenerbahçe's Oğuzalp Ak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Jose Vitin made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Tuncer İribaş sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Jatsu made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tuncer İribaş notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Jose Vitin. Jose Vitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe's Aras Daman made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Vitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the game, Aras Daman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jose Vitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evren Tanfer scored 7-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Vitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fenerbahçe's Tuncer İribaş got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper Jose Vitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncer İribaş in the 79th minute of play. Aristides Fagondo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jose Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Daman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of A.F Cuervos Azulgranas booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demarcus Andersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fenerbahçe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
