The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Eduardo Martins hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Paulo Renato Arantes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move. In the 23rd minute of the match Belotaurus FC got a corner. Divina Comédia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Belotaurus FC's corner Paulo Renato Arantes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rogério Ceni quite easily take care of the ball. Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Botelho in the 29th minute of play.
