The Flamenco United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jannes Swartenbroekx should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Van Eijken, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With 20 minutes on the clock, Jordi Demeyer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flamenco United! Vicente Dechamps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Seme having to interfere. If Robbie Van Eijken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flamenco United's Jannes Swartenbroekx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Eutor in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flamenco United's Michael Braeckman got a free kick in the 36th minute. La Vuelta del Malon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Youri Goolen scored to the left of an out of position Ubaldo Seme, making the score, 2-2. 47 minutes into the game, Theo Van Haght was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamenco United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Vuelta del Malon the free kick. The supporters of La Vuelta del Malon booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Van Haght didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Llope made a kick off. Jannes Swartenbroekx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Llope in the 52nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Jannes Swartenbroekx successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flamenco United's Edward Wuyts was substituted for Youri Goolen. Edward Wuyts might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Seme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Wuyts ran back to his position shaking his head. Ubaldo Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Wuyts in the 62nd minute of play. Ubaldo Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Wuyts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Lorenzo Llope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Vuelta del Malon and the Flamenco United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Vuelta del Malon's Lorenzo Llope got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ubaldo Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Wuyts in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, La Vuelta del Malon's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wuyts came free, but Ubaldo Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Aznar got free with Jannes Swartenbroekx in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Wuyts struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ubaldo Seme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamenco United. 84 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Llope recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jannes Swartenbroekx. Lorenzo Llope showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Llope got free with Jannes Swartenbroekx in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when La Vuelta del Malon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Llope didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Flamenco United's Vicente Dechamps nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Seme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Although Flamenco United had been in control for most of the match, La Vuelta del Malon still came away with the win.
