Jannes Swartenbroekx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Ruberto in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Flamenco United getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Theo Van Haght hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Marcelo Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARTINETA's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Omero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannes Swartenbroekx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MARTINETA were furious when León Carrera was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Hannes De Reijck placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A sloppy throw-in by Vicente Dechamps in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MARTINETA's Agustín Ruberto. After 12 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Israel Reno. In the 13th minute of the match Hannes De Reijck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Bertin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th match minute, Flamenco United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Van Haght to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Marcelo Omero made a precise shot to the right of Jannes Swartenbroekx. Flamenco United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Braeckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Goolen in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Marcelo Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Braeckman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Robbie Van Eijken hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Eriberto Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jannes Swartenbroekx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, MARTINETA's Marcelo Omero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jannes Swartenbroekx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eriberto Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jannes Swartenbroekx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Omero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Ceandro charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Ceandro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when MARTINETA's Marcelo Omero in the 91st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jannes Swartenbroekx was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Flamenco United through an amazing save. In the 96th minute, Eriberto Ceandro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jannes Swartenbroekx. The goal made the score 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the MARTINETA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
