Jannes Swartenbroekx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Erdiano's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. With an all-out effort, Flamenco United's Hermengildo Maureo threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robbie Van Eijken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute, Desiderio Erdiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jannes Swartenbroekx was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Los up up's Desiderio Erdiano got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Baldomero Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los up up's Hermengildo Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Los up up from getting a goal against them. Samuel Lehen scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannes Swartenbroekx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Los up up's Samuel Lehen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jannes Swartenbroekx was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Desiderio Erdiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannes Swartenbroekx was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Matthieu Leempoels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Maureo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Youri Goolen made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Flamenco United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matthieu Leempoels hit a great ball. Jannes Swartenbroekx made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Baldomero Paz sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Swartenbroekx having to interfere. Flamenco United made a substitution. Edward Wuyts replaced Youri Goolen. Jannes Swartenbroekx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flamenco United's Jannes Swartenbroekx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Flamenco United from getting a goal against them. Hermengildo Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Van Haght in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Wuyts in the 71st minute of play forced Los up up's goalkeeper Hermengildo Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Los up up's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wuyts came free, but Hermengildo Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Maureo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamenco United's Robbie Van Eijken. But to his dismay, Robbie Van Eijken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Edward Wuyts sped through Los up up's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermengildo Maureo. In the 82nd minute Robbie Van Eijken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Pablo Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Dechamps scored 3-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermengildo Maureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89thth minute of the game Edward Wuyts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los up up's Hermengildo Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Wuyts in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Maureo saved Los up up from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
