Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5656, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Vergaray Echeto made the kick off and thus started the match. Denis Dubardo had great luck who in the 3rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Vergaray Echeto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the last second Denis Dubardo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vergaray Echeto in the 3rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 7 minutes, Vergaray Echeto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuatrodeocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vergaray Echeto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Vilma Palma's Denis Dubardo got control of the ball when Vergaray Echeto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Dubardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Tarin in the 12th minute. Mats Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Quinito Cifuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Vergaray Echeto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilma Palma's Denis Dubardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Santiago Frisco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quinito Cifuentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Vilma Palma were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Muno to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vilma Palma getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nacho Scocco hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Allande Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vergaray Echeto in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Dubardo saved Vilma Palma from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Frisco came free, but Quinito Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vilma Palma's Martin Sayveon got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Uriel Zubiaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Dubardo. Vilma Palma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Zubiaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Vergaray Echeto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuatrodeocho's supporters rose to their feet, but Vergaray Echeto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Dubardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Austin Urbina hit a great ball. Denis Dubardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Echeto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Vilma Palma got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Muno. The audience was convinced that Vergaray Echeto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Dubardo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. A collision led to Vilma Palma getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Martin Sayveon hit a great ball. If Vergaray Echeto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Dobale to maneuver through the defense.
