Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcelino Muno made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goalkeeper William Troisi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Frisco. After 7 minutes, Kevin Musu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vilma Palma's Denis Dubardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Mats Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Dubardo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu. But to his dismay, Kevin Musu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Kevin Musu sped through Vilma Palma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Dubardo. 26 minutes into the match, Vilma Palma's Marcelino Muno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Troisi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Kevin Musu put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Dubardo. Zach Testaferrata Viani hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Meerkats FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anton De Battista in the 37th minute. Serafin Harkaitz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Denis Dubardo, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 0-6. The Meerkats FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Musu to strike the kick off in the second half. Kevin Musu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Denis Dubardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The nice shot from Kevin Musu in the 60thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Denis Dubardo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 69th minute, Marcelino Muno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Musus short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Denis Dubardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 76 in the game by Kevin Musu from a close distance when the talented Denis Dubardo managed to make a qualified save. Vilma Palma's players were relieved. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilma Palma's goalkeeper Denis Dubardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Leonard Calleja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Dubardo. Vilma Palma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Calleja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Denis Dubardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Calleja in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Kevin Musu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Dubardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kevin Musu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Dubardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Meerkats FC played a much better game than Vilma Palma and deserved their victory. The Vilma Palma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
