GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Villerias to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Vergaray Echeto came free, but Aguinaga Queipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Luís Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustin Pillado struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Quinito Cifuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GUAYACO. Aguinaga Queipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vergaray Echeto's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Téo Meireless short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Quinito Cifuentes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Téo Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Cifuentes having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quinito Cifuentes was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 31 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Luís Ferreira. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vergaray Echeto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vergaray Echeto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aguinaga Queipo having to make a save. Aguinaga Queipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vergaray Echeto in the 53rd minute of the match. Agustin Pillado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Quinito Cifuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Vergaray Echeto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quinito Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When C.A. GUAYACO's Téo Meireles in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vergaray Echeto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Aguinaga Queipo 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Téo Meireles hit a great ball. Aguinaga Queipo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Vergaray Echeto sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Vincent Murieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Austin Urbina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vergaray Echeto in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aguinaga Queipo saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind.
