Austin Urbina took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Allande Fuente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aguinaga Queipo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute, Vergaray Echeto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Olaf Rydz fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuatrodeocho's protests and gave Olaf Rydz a yellow card for diving instead. Olaf Rydz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Meireles in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vergaray Echeto got free with Aguinaga Queipo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rdth minute of the game Vergaray Echeto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Aguinaga Queipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vergaray Echeto made a kick off. Aguinaga Queipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vergaray Echeto in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Cuatrodeocho got a corner. C.A. GUAYACO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Austin Urbina ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cuatrodeocho's Austin Urbina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aguinaga Queipo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Téo Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Cifuentes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. GUAYACO's Luís Ferreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Quinito Cifuentes. That made the score 2-1 after 78 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vergaray Echeto in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal.
