Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lech Skarpiak started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Robert Robak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LongeR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Robak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Leontin Stoleru made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Zjawin. FC LongeR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Leontin Stoleru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LIVERPOOL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Czeslaw Czeszyk during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when FC LongeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Czeszyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The LIVERPOOL FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when LIVERPOOL FC's Martin Buteanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Stoleru came free, but Waldemar Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 32nd minute of the match Czeslaw Czeszyk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Czeslaw Czeszyk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when FC LongeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Czeszyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartosz Glapiak during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartosz Glapiak kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With 38 minutes on the clock, Ionel Arghirescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After some careless play in the FC LongeR defense, Mugur Martinaș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Zjawin. The FC LongeR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Zjawin should have stopped the shot.

LIVERPOOL FC made a substitution. Horea Mititelu replaced Leontin Stoleru. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Buteanu was the one to do the kick off. Waldemar Zjawin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Papaiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Remus Papaiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Zjawin having to interfere. Remus Papaiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Waldemar Zjawin made a huge save. Dorel Bunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Robak in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to LIVERPOOL FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vali Puric hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Papaiani. In the 79th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Raszek to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Robert Robak. Martin Buteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mugur Martinaș managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVERPOOL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Martinaș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Zjawin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
