Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Téo Meireles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luís Ferreira sped through Vilma Palma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Dubardo. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilma Palma's goalkeeper Denis Dubardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Luís Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Dubardo. Vilma Palma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Meireles in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Dubardo saved Vilma Palma from getting behind. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luís Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Téo Meireles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Dubardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 26 minutes into the game, Santiago Frisco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arias Burgo. Santiago Frisco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Vilma Palma's Mats Nyman got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 42nd match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Pillado to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vilma Palma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! After the first half C.A. GUAYACO were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luís Ferreira scored 1-8 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Dubardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. GUAYACO's Téo Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The C.A. GUAYACO fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when C.A. GUAYACO's Téo Meireles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xicu Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Arias Burgo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Frisco's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Téo Meireles put it in 1-10 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Dubardo. When Luís Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Ferreira couldn't finish the play. If Téo Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Denis Dubardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Dubardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Téo Meireles in the 81st minute. Agustin Pillado charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Pillado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Denis Dubardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Téo Meireles lined in a short shot 1-12 behind a frustrated Denis Dubardo. The Vilma Palma supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A. GUAYACO's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A. GUAYACO.
