Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Ximenes Coz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the FC Philotimo defense, Rexino Astera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Morquecho. The FC Philotimo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Morquecho should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Alberto Torrens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Philotimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unikurdos United F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Unikurdos United F.C. booed when FC Philotimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Torrens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ximenes Coz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estebe Caneiro having to interfere. Matias Morquecho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Pangua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Unikurdos United F.C. were awarded a corner. Freddy Pangua went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 22nd minute, Pitin Malet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indalecio Chavarria hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Justavino Cortez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Estebe Caneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Lawrence Osuna's late challenge caught a FC Philotimo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lawrence Osuna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Philotimo booed when Unikurdos United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Osuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Unikurdos United F.C.! Justavino Cortez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Matias Morquecho stood somewhat misplaced when Freddy Pangua came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. After 45 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Ximenes Coz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Pangua to make the kick off. Rexino Astera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Matias Morquecho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Pangua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Unikurdos United F.C.'s Lawrence Osuna in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Philotimo's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Freddy Pangua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Morquecho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Freddy Pangua put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Morquecho. Matias Morquecho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Pangua's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Mario Giner hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Presebal Mimenza got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Pangua in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Morquecho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Pitin Malet got a free kick in the 91st minute. Unikurdos United F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
