No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Ortle to make the kick off. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when GiaSiRo 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Curti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Luke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demetrio Mazzocchetti's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Gavino Luke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Armando Gargano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GiaSiRo 08 fully deserved thier win.
