The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when io.dasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Sciamanna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Piermattei kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Carmine Sciamanna's late challenge caught a Gaviotas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ildefonso Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Godfredo Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Zoff was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of io.dasola booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Amos Natale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Ildefonso Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Vimaro. Gavino Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Sammartano in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Sammartano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Gimenez in the 52nd minute of play. Gaviotas FC's Santiago Oliverio was substituted for Anastasio Arce. Demetrio Zoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
