Candelaria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Joãozinho Severiano scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Galindo, making the score, 2-0. In the 21st minute, Baltazar De Deus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Magno de Amaral succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 22nd playminute. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo got control of the ball when Magno de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magno de Amaral took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Baltazar De Deus took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Izotz was the one to do the kick off. The Crisólia FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Crisólia FBPA's Ruy Prado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joãozinho Severiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Galindo having to interfere. Joãozinho Severiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magno de Amaral came free, but Gustavo Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joãozinho Severiano in the 61st minute of play. Gustavo Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Joãozinho Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Ambrosio Acosta got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joãozinho Severiano in the 72nd minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Joãozinho Severiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joãozinho Severiano in the 78th minute of play. Marco Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alessandro Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Peli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Alessandro Ramalho made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Joãozinho Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crisólia FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Joãozinho Severiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joãozinho Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Crisólia FBPA's Baltazar De Deus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Galindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Crisólia FBPA had played much better football throughout.
