Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diguinho Ortiz started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelinho Motta during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Motta. If Magno de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Damião. Alfredo de Queiroz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mário Soeiro. Magno de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eusébio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar De Deus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Joãozinho Severiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crisólia FBPA's Alfredo de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Soeiro in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Santo Amaro AC were awarded a corner. Mário Soeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Santo Amaro AC's corner Mário Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo de Queiroz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute, Valdemar Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mário Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Amaro AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Ricardinho Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santo Amaro AC and the Crisólia FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Ricardinho Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Magno de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Albuquerque. Santo Amaro AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Santo Amaro AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crisólia FBPA were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magno de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque got control of the ball when Magno de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eusébio Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joãozinho Severiano in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Crisólia FBPA got a corner. Santo Amaro AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tostão Valle ran over to the corner to take the kick. 64 minutes into the game, Júnior Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santo Amaro AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crisólia FBPA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Júnior Capixaba got a free kick in the 64th minute. Eusébio Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Crisólia FBPA's Baltazar De Deus. But to his dismay, Baltazar De Deus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar De Deus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Montenegro. Santo Amaro AC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Joãozinho Severiano scored to the left of an out of position Eusébio Albuquerque, making the score, 0-3. In the 80th minute, Crisólia FBPA's Magno de Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. If Diguinho Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Crisólia FBPA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
