Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Phoenix Strikers's Horaţiu Dinulescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Păun to maneuver through the defense. Isac Spirea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Nord's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Jerry Nord took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Spirea. Isac Spirea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jerry Nord put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Isac Spirea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Nord in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Spirea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cazimir Ceaușu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Strikers's protests and gave Cazimir Ceaușu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cazimir Ceaușu hit a great ball. Isac Spirea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Norberg in the 23rd minute of the match. Isac Spirea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Nord's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Isac Spirea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Uter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Arman Uter notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea. Isac Spirea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Arman Uter made a precise shot to the right of Isac Spirea. Phoenix Strikers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Anton Păun kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Arman Uter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Spirea having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Marin Pietreanu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Uter in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Jerry Nord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Spirea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Brânzaș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ingvar Beckström came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Brânzaș slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerry Nord was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Ingvar Beckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denis Brânzaș kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Gheorghe Dorineanu's late challenge caught a Doffes Damer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Dorineanu helped the player get up and apologised. Gheorghe Dorineanu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Doffes Damer were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Phoenix Strikers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerry Nord took the corner. After taking down the ball on Doffes Damer's corner Jerry Nord fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isac Spirea quite easily take care of the ball. Jerry Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isac Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Jerry Nord left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doffes Damer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Nord in the 69th minute of play forced Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Isac Spirea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Jerry Nord ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Spirea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Jerry Nord succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-8. Marin Pietreanu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Persson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Isac Spirea made a huge save. After 85 minutes, Jerry Nord made it 1-9 with a short kick to the right side. Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Păun in the 91st minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Ingvar Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when Phoenix Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Ceaușu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Spirea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Doffes Damer could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Phoenix Strikers throughout the match.
