Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Celsinho Bittencourt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Celsinho Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fernan Ibon made a huge save. Fernan Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Marquez came free, but Fernan Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernan Ibon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jairo Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Roman Barros's late challenge caught a Inter de São Paulo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Roman Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candelaria FC's Roman Barros got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered Roman Barros off the ground. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Fernan Ibon got control of the ball when Celsinho Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernan Ibon was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Miguel Marquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Marquez really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Fernan Ibon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celsinho Bittencourt in the 29th minute. Miguel Marquez took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Ibon. Fernan Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Cacá Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Celsinho Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Ibon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Cacá Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Eusebio Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Alcântara during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inter de São Paulo's Jairo Alcântara got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Emesto made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Osvaldo Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fernan Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Tepedino in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Celsinho Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Inter de São Paulo booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Fiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Marquez in the 65th minute of play. Eusebio Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eliseu Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Emesto in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Miguel Marquez made a precise shot to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho Bittencourt in the 78th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Candelaria FC defense, Miguel Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernan Ibon. The Candelaria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernan Ibon should have stopped the shot. Candelaria FC's Fernan Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Alcântara in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Ruperto Emesto got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Bittencourt came free, but Fernan Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Ibon came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de São Paulo's Celsinho Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Celsinho Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter de São Paulo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Candelaria FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
