Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eric Haeger kicked off to start the match. FC Momlinho were furious when Karl-Axel Olsson was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 3 played minutes FC Momlinho got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Olsson. After a defensive mix-up in FC Momlinho's zone, Alexandrino Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Boklund came out of the goal and Alexandrino Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 minutes, Alexandrino Bessa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Braga and the FC Momlinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandrino Bessa to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes FC Momlinho got a freekick which was hit by Nils Valrot. If Oliver Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Celso Belo hit a great ball. Vilhelm Boklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Paixão in the 23rd minute of play. Vilhelm Boklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Calado in the 26th minute of the match. Vilhelm Boklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Paixão in the 30th minute of play. Oliver Olsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albérico Vilaverde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Olsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th match minute, FC Momlinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Fanström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Momlinho's Magnus Björkqvist got a free kick in the 37th minute. Egídio Paixão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Boklund made a huge save. In the 46th minute Hélder Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Boklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder Trindade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Calado. In the 51st match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentil Vasques to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Boklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Paixão in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Hélder Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Olsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Vilhelm Boklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Calado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Braga booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Valrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Calado took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Boklund. Vilhelm Boklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Nils Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Ove Ålberg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hélder Trindade scored 2-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilhelm Boklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Momlinho's Vilhelm Boklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Trindade in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes of play SC Braga's Celso Belo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Celso Belo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Momlinho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Braga.
