In the 2nd match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Massa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to O MOTIVO ⚽ getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Natanael Massa hit a great ball. Fikri Sakman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The nice shot from Fikri Sakman in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dida Braga had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 14th match minute, ÇORUM FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mümtaz Onultan to maneuver through the defense. Fikri Sakman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Dida Braga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Umut İnceman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in O MOTIVO ⚽'s zone, Mustafa Cumhur Altun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Braga came out of the goal and Mustafa Cumhur Altun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Dida Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save O MOTIVO ⚽ from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Magalhães hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Fikri Sakman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÇORUM FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fikri Sakman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fikri Sakman in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Braga saved O MOTIVO ⚽ from getting behind. The supporters of O MOTIVO ⚽ booed when ÇORUM FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulki Temizsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes, Luís Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O MOTIVO ⚽ and the ÇORUM FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Dida Braga got control of the ball when Fikri Sakman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Fikri Sakman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dida Braga. Fikri Sakman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Luís Linhares was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th minute, Luís Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Magalhães to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, ÇORUM FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulmelik Helvacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Waldir Matorin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Umut İnceman but with some difficulty. Celsinho Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Zafer Benlioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÇORUM FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zafer Benlioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustafa Cumhur Altun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feyzullay Şahbazoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dida Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Umut İnceman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Celsinho Magalhães got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 76 minutes into the match, ÇORUM FK's goalkeeper Umut İnceman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celsinho Magalhães. Dida Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Cumhur Altun, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Zafer Benlioğlu sped through O MOTIVO ⚽'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Braga. Feyzullay Şahbazoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dida Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ÇORUM FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while O MOTIVO ⚽ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
