Vilhelm Boklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Cumhur Altun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Samet Uraza put in a rough tackle. ÇORUM FK's Umut İnceman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save ÇORUM FK from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Zafer Benlioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Vilhelm Boklund. FC Momlinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 40th minute, Mustafa Cumhur Altun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Boklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vilhelm Boklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zafer Benlioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Stig-Åke Fanström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half ÇORUM FK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Haeger to make the kick off. Umut İnceman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Mustafa Cumhur Altun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Ivar Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match Fikri Sakman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilhelm Boklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Fanström notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ÇORUM FK's Umut İnceman. Umut İnceman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mustafa Cumhur Altun struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vilhelm Boklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÇORUM FK. In the 75th match minute, ÇORUM FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulmelik Helvacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Abdulmelik Helvacıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Boklund made a huge save. If Feyzullay Şahbazoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ÇORUM FK's Umut İnceman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Fanström in the 97th minute of play. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Stig-Åke Fanström sped through ÇORUM FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umut İnceman. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ÇORUM FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
