Marcu Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Souto in the 14th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcu Tărbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC TraLaLa's zone, Dorian Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Tărbac came out of the goal and Dorian Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Henrique Domingues hit a great ball. Zeca Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Albert Dănănae sent off a good shot on target. Marcu Tărbac came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Ulisses Carioca. But to his dismay, Ulisses Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulisses Carioca to make the kick off. Vasile Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Cerezo having to interfere. MarquinhosEC's Dorian Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mircea Şchiopu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Reynaldo Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nichifor Crașovan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Crașovan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Crașovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match, Ulisses Carioca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcu Tărbac saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 91 minutes into the match, Ciro Simões notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC TraLaLa's Marcu Tărbac. Marcu Tărbac was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ciocâltea came free, but Zeca Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MarquinhosEC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
