The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Santiago's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Dorival da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Caio Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Miguel Santiago sped through Zandarin FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedrinho Severo. Sporting Clube Patrício's Caio Carmona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. Dorival da Costa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Abílio Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Clube Patrício's supporters rose to their feet, but Abílio Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Duarte Parente fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Duarte Parente a yellow card for diving instead. Duarte Parente hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Juliano Simões hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Lobo came free, but Pedrinho Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Sporting Clube Patrício's Cristiano Garcia to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedrinho Severo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abílio Lobo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho Severo saved Zandarin FC from getting behind. Célio Leme's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Caio Carmona firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half Sporting Clube Patrício were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorival da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Carmona having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Abílio Lobo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedrinho Severo, 0-2. Pedrinho Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abílio Lobo in the 64th minute of the match. Juliano Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Sporting Clube Patrício's Yuri Gaspar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yuri Gaspar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sporting Clube Patrício protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yuri Gaspar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristiano Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reinaldo Quental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Severo having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Leme to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sporting Clube Patrício walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
