After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Octav Cismaș got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Three Lions FC's Cafu de Moraes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcu Tărbac was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC TraLaLa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ernest Porumboiu hit a great ball. FC TraLaLa's Cristian Ciocâltea got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Mathias Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Three Lions FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Ciocâltea. After 31 minutes, Vasile Leucuța mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC TraLaLa and the Three Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vasile Leucuța kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Marcu Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Vasile Leucuța came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC TraLaLa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasile Leucuța couldn't finish the play. Marcu Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Douglas Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Tărbac having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Cafu de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcu Tărbac. FC TraLaLa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Gonçalves came free, but Marcu Tărbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Duarte to make the kick off. If Adam Dinulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Cismaș got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Cismaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Ricardinho Pirani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcu Tărbac was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Douglas Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcu Tărbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Silveira in the 68th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cafu de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Three Lions FC fans jumped to their feet.
