Mikhail Guschin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Apostolos Morikis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Chrisostomos Bourdas managed to get in a good position for a shot. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Bourdas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Kaiturov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apostolos Morikis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikhail Guschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akis Romanidis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislav Kaiturov. Stanislav Kaiturov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Stanislav Kaiturov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofilos Zaninos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Akis Romanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Kaiturov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Ivan Kazachenkov put in a rough tackle. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galatasaray SK! The referee gave tHe SOnS of rAGnar a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nikos Lagonikakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Galatasaray SK's Stanislav Kaiturov. 0-2. Galatasaray SK's Stanislav Kaiturov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Romanidis in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Fomichev to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Galatasaray SK defense, Chrisostomos Bourdas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislav Kaiturov. The Galatasaray SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislav Kaiturov should have stopped the shot. Stanislav Kaiturov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofilos Zaninos in the 37th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Chrisostomos Bourdas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Stanislav Kaiturov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the game, Theofilos Zaninos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray SK the free kick. In the 47th minute, Theofilos Zaninos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikhail Guschin made a kick off. Stanislav Kaiturov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theofilos Zaninos went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match Theofilos Zaninos climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-7 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Stanislav Kaiturov. In the 68th play minute Theofilos Zaninos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stanislav Kaiturov. 0-8. 72 minutes into the game, Chrisostomos Bourdas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanislav Kaiturov. Chrisostomos Bourdas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 77th minute, Chrisostomos Bourdas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stanislav Kaiturov. The goal made the score 0-10. Chrisostomos Bourdas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Galatasaray SK's Stanislav Kaiturov got control of the ball when Akis Romanidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stanislav Kaiturov made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Theofilos Zaninos sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Chrisostomos Bourdas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stanislav Kaiturov. The goal made the score 0-11. Akis Romanidis charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akis Romanidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Romanidis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
