Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5701, Seating: 1748, VIP seats: 151) Denis Ispovednikov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mikhail Guschin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Marios Kamarinopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galatasaray SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Chrisostomos Bourdas scored to the left of an out of position Stanislav Kaiturov, making the score, 1-0. If Mikhail Guschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marios Kamarinopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikhail Guschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marios Kamarinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikhail Guschin in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mikhail Guschin who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Denis Ispovednikov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Ispovednikov in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marios Kamarinopoulos saved tHe SOnS of rAGnar from getting behind. After 20 minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mikhail Guschin who took care of the corner kick. Galatasaray SK's Mikhail Guschin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marios Kamarinopoulos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 minutes, Akis Romanidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the tHe SOnS of rAGnar and the Galatasaray SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akis Romanidis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Theofilos Zaninos might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislav Kaiturov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theofilos Zaninos ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Romanidis came free, but Stanislav Kaiturov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Bourdas came free, but Stanislav Kaiturov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Danila Melnikov got a free kick in the 36th minute. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Chrisostomos Bourdas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Chrisostomos Bourdas made the kick off in the second half. Mikhail Guschin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Theofilos Zaninos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 60th minute, Theofilos Zaninos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galatasaray SK's Mikhail Guschin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chrisostomos Bourdas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray SK's zone, Chrisostomos Bourdas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Kaiturov came out of the goal and Chrisostomos Bourdas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of tHe SOnS of rAGnar booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Guschin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislav Kaiturov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofilos Zaninos in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Fomichev. After some careless play in the Galatasaray SK defense, Akis Romanidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislav Kaiturov. The Galatasaray SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislav Kaiturov should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute of the match Akis Romanidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislav Kaiturov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stanislav Kaiturov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Romanidis in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Galatasaray SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for tHe SOnS of rAGnar.
