Daniel Buculeasa started the match with the kick off. The supporters of FC ANC booed when Golden Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Golden Generation's Rogelio Viator got a free kick in the 10th minute. Leonard Duțulescu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gregorio Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ANC. Alfonso Olivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Golden Generation getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Micki Owen hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Micki Owen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Medrea. FC ANC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micki Owen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Marcel Șeitan fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ANC's protests and gave Marcel Șeitan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Golden Generation booed when FC ANC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Șeitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Radu Bodnar got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Micki Owen was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC ANC's Sebastian Medrea got control of the ball when Alfonso Olivar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golden Generation's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micki Essien in the 54th minute. The corner led Golden Generation's Micki Essien to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Medrea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benito Llorenc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Medrea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 58 minutes, Micki Owen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Generation and the FC ANC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golden Generation's Micki Owen got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Micki Owen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sebastian Medrea to make any attempt to save it. After 68 minutes of play, FC ANC's Leonard Duțulescu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Gilesindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Buculeasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Gilesindo having to interfere. Rogelio Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Golden Generation's Micki Owen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Medrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Golden Generation's Gregorio Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Deliman in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Golden Generation were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC ANC side.
