The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Hoffmann got free with Nemesio Firman in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Fernando Esteves hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cristian Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Firman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Neves in the 17th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Nemesio Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ramiro Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Firman was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Cristian Hoffmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Hoffmann really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 29 minutes, Niceto Lluciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bendito Sea El Fernet and the Pendotiba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Bendito Sea El Fernet got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Lluciano. In the 31st minute Joaquin Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Nemesio Firman made a huge save. Pendotiba's Ramiro Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Machado in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adriano Soares hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Osasun to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jeferson Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Neves in the 52nd minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Nemesio Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Pendotiba were awarded a corner. Paulo Neves went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jeferson Vale advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Neves came free, but Nemesio Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Niceto Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Osasun went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the game, Cristian Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Nemesio Firman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Pendotiba were the better team. Pendotiba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
