After 19 minutes, Franz Jääger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotivet Kamraterna and the La Pointe Courte players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Lokomotivet Kamraterna got a freekick which was hit by Franz Jääger. Rudolf Hasselqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Lokomotivet Kamraterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Jääger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Preben Laudrup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal and Preben Laudrup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Bern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaut Mazieres in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Holmes in the 45th minute of play forced Lokomotivet Kamraterna's goalkeeper Kristian Bern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Yann Scott notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Lokomotivet Kamraterna's Kristian Bern. Kristian Bern was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Stefan Blom made the kick off in the second half. Kristian Bern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Holmes in the 56th minute of play. La Pointe Courte's Olivier Jourdain was substituted for Wilfried Mahé. In the 63rd match minute, Lokomotivet Kamraterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Blom to maneuver through the defense. Lokomotivet Kamraterna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Mathys Guigon scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Bern, making the score, 0-6. Yann Scott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kristian Bern made a huge save. Kristian Bern showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibaut Mazieres in the 81st minute of the match. Yann Scott received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristian Bern came out and tried to block the shot, but Yann Scott slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathys Guigon got free with Kristian Bern in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Törnkvist hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lokomotivet Kamraterna's Kristian Bern got control of the ball when Yann Scott tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Stefan Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotivet Kamraterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Fouquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Rudolf Hasselqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lokomotivet Kamraterna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Pointe Courte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
