István Földes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dogo Argentino booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Földes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ottó Gyarmati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fernan Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Iker Foro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dogo Argentino and the Gyál United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The shot was stopped by Fernan Loren but with some difficulty. 41 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Godoy came free, but Sándor Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Róbert Vajda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernan Loren. Róbert Vajda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The audience was convinced that Ottó Gyarmati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Loren was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Ottó Gyarmati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Loren. Dogo Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ottó Gyarmati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
