The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Manolo Uquillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Godoy during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gavino Godoy hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Enhebrator FC's Dante Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Uquillas in the 7th minute of play. Dante Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Uquillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Xulian Pejuan fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DALO S.C.'s protests and gave Xulian Pejuan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Enhebrator FC booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulian Pejuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Uquillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes DALO S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baltasar Oliveiro who took care of the corner kick. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DALO S.C.! When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Enhebrator FC's Marteinn Palermo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ramos Pejuan. In the 27th minute, Manolo Uquillas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DALO S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Nixon Laurencio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Manolo Uquillas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Marteinn Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramos Pejuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute Manolo Uquillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enhebrator FC's Dante Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Arichaga in the 38th minute of play. Dante Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Trespuentes in the 40th minute of play. Dante Dantae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xulian Pejuan went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Trespuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximun Arichaga came free, but Dante Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulian Pejuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dante Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulian Pejuan in the 56th minute of the match. Dante Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xulian Pejuan in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Enhebrator FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paul-Henri van Nistelrooij hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play, Enhebrator FC's Marteinn Palermo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramos Pejuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramos Pejuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marteinn Palermo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Dante Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Trespuentes in the 83rd minute of the match. After 86th play minutes Marteinn Palermo shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Ramos Pejuan and just under the crossbar into goal. 94 minutes into the game, Enhebrator FC's Gavino Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramos Pejuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. DALO S.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
