The audience thought a goal was coming when David Paublo got free with Ramos Pejuan in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascual Porfirio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xulian Pejuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xulian Pejuan in the 27th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Pascual Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, DALO S.C.'s Xulian Pejuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Porfirio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. DALO S.C.'s Ramos Pejuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save DALO S.C. from getting a goal against them. DALO S.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Angelino Bernard scored to the left of an out of position Ramos Pejuan, making the score, 1-4. When Santiago Perucho fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DALO S.C.'s protests and gave Santiago Perucho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Perucho to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Bernard came free, but Ramos Pejuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Uquillas came free, but Pascual Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Trespuentes made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Trespuentes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascual Porfirio. That made the score 1-5 in the 52 minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Angelino Bernard got a free kick in the 55th minute. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolo Uquillas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Pascual Porfirio came out and tried to block the shot, but Manolo Uquillas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 93rd minute. DALO S.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
