Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John McInroy took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Danilo Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugh Gilbertson. Braga Junior FC's Danilo Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Braga Junior FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hugh Gilbertson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Gavião Kyikatejê fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugh Gilbertson couldn't finish the play. After 22 minutes, Danilo Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braga Junior FC and the Gavião Kyikatejê players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Danilo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Gilbertson in the 23rd minute of play. When Christian Braga fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braga Junior FC's protests and gave Christian Braga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Christian Braga got a free kick in the 24th minute. Danilo Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugh Gilbertson's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Marques. 33 minutes into the match, Kiko Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Max Gilespie. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kiko Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kiko Neves made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinando Gallucci during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Gallucci. Charlie Swan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie Swan during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute of the match Ferdinando Gallucci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Gilespie skillfully saved the ball. Kiko Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Max Gilespie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute Hugh Gilbertson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Hugh Gilbertson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braga Junior FC's Danilo Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Braga Junior FC's zone, Hugh Gilbertson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Arruda came out of the goal and Hugh Gilbertson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Hugh Gilbertson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Arruda. Braga Junior FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugh Gilbertson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gavião Kyikatejê had played much better football throughout.
