Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Danilo Milian started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Angelino Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Gilespie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John McInroy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Pascual Porfirio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Retorno de Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charlie Swan was slow to take the kick. During this time Gavião Kyikatejê's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gavião Kyikatejê's Jordan Robison to fire away a dangerous shot which Pascual Porfirio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Charlie Swan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Porfirio skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jordan Robison hit a great ball. The throw-in from Damaso Estefan in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gavião Kyikatejê's Terry McAngus. Pascual Porfirio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugh Gilbertson in the 25th minute. After 29 minutes of play, El Retorno de Palermo's Angelino Bernard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Gilespie was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugh Gilbertson got free with Pascual Porfirio in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Gilespie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Paublo in the 34th minute of the match. Vicente Bakar charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Bakar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Terence Douglas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. David Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugh Gilbertson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Charlie Swan fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavião Kyikatejê's protests and gave Charlie Swan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Swan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Nelson to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Hugh Gilbertson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Terence Douglas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Max Gilespie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Paublo. Angelino Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Max Gilespie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Bernard came free, but Max Gilespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Gilespie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Gilespie made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when David Paublo sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, David Paublo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Gilespie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Charlie Swan got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Damaso Estefan got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hugh Gilbertson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugh Gilbertson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Porfirio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Milian in the 93rd minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Max Gilespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Gilespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Bernard in the 95th minute of play. El Retorno de Palermo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
