Melquiades Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Chumo in the 3rd minute of play. Melquiades Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marteinn Palermo in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Hortensia FCG were awarded a corner. Delmar Quico went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hortensia FCG's corner Delmar Quico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Dantae quite easily take care of the ball. Marteinn Palermo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Firman came out and tried to block the shot, but Marteinn Palermo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Hortensia FCG's Melquiades Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Chumo in the 12th minute of play. Marteinn Palermo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Cesar Chumo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Melquiades Firman to make any attempt to save it. After 19 minutes, Cesar Chumo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enhebrator FC and the Hortensia FCG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Enhebrator FC's Cesar Chumo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Dante Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Iraido in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Enhebrator FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rafael Mendez hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Agustin Iraido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Dantae was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Julio Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hortensia FCG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enhebrator FC the free kick. The supporters of Enhebrator FC booed when Hortensia FCG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Edgard Ubelteso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enhebrator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hortensia FCG the free kick. Edgard Ubelteso hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 29th play minutes Cesar Chumo shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Melquiades Firman and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 32nd minute, Enhebrator FC's Cesar Chumo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Dante Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Quico in the 35th minute of play. Dante Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Cesar Chumo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Firman. Cesar Chumo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. Melquiades Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Chumo in the 42nd minute of play. Melquiades Firman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marteinn Palermo in the 43rd minute. Enhebrator FC's Dante Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Iraido in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.
The wind increased when Cesar Chumo made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Chumo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Firman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes, Domingos Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hortensia FCG and the Enhebrator FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Domingos Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marteinn Palermo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Melquiades Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enhebrator FC. After some careless play in the Hortensia FCG defense, Cesar Chumo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Firman. The Hortensia FCG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Firman should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Weather during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Hortensia FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Weather to maneuver through the defense.
