Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernandinho Urbano started the match with the kick off. Andarilhos's Yuri Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Urbano in the 3rd minute of play. If Fernandinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Urbano came free, but Yuri Ventura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sálvio Malta in the 12th minute of the match. Yuri Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 23rd minute, Edmílson Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andarilhos reached it. After 29 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Mineiro. In the 40th minute Herberto Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Corinthians's Cássio Soeiro got control of the ball when Herberto Vilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sálvio Malta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cássio Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Campelo in the 52nd minute of the match. João Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes, Leandro Campelo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Corinthians's Cássio Soeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Silvestre Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Fernandinho Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Leandro Campelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Cunha during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's João Cunha got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Leandro Campelo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cássio Soeiro. Leandro Campelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Herberto Vilar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Andarilhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herberto Vilar couldn't finish the play. Jardel Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Andarilhos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
