Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Behe Haedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lino Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behe Haedo in the 12th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Temperley's goalie and right to Behe Haedo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Temperley's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Behe Haedo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Temperley's Lino Lidon. Lino Lidon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Canor got free with Guillen Mijangos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behe Haedo in the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Cueto during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Fausto Cueto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Canor in the 38th minute of play. When Behe Haedo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universitario's protests and gave Behe Haedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Behe Haedo hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sebastian Canor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guillen Mijangos, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Canor made a kick off. Behe Haedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Lidon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Azevedo in the 56th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillen Mijangos came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Temperley's Sebastian Canor. But to his dismay, Sebastian Canor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Temperley made a substitution. Ubaldo Matxin replaced Modesto Inocente. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ekialde Viedes hit a great ball. The corner led Temperley's Dalmacio Sergi to fire away a dangerous shot which Guillen Mijangos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Azevedo in the 75th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Behe Haedo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Faro came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidal Cantabrana to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Canor took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillen Mijangos. Guillen Mijangos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Bonifacio Morentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Temperley walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
