After 3 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho de Moraes. After a rather tough play, CA INCAS's Ariel Berasko got a free kick in the 11th minute. Celsinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Txerran in the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, CA INCAS's Esteve Cerilo got control of the ball when Humberto Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Luiz Gustavo Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Ferman charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Ferman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, CA INCAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Ferman to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Doriva Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA INCAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Humberto Leão scored to the left of an out of position Esteve Cerilo, making the score, 1-0. Fabio Txerran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goalkeeper Esteve Cerilo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Leão. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Braga was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Allan Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandinho de Moraes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Adriano Carneiro's late challenge caught a CA INCAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Fabio Txerran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celsinho Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to CA INCAS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Esteve Cerilo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Humberto Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Cerilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 73 minutes into the match, Humberto Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Cerilo. CA INCAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. A collision led to CA INCAS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Honorio Ferman hit a great ball. Doriva Koehler, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Esteve Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Leão in the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Nico Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Cerilo. CA INCAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, CA INCAS's Fabio Txerran got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celsinho Vander. Augusto Brodel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes CA INCAS got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Txerran. Esteve Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Furlan in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFC - Curitiba fans cheered their team off the field, for while CA INCAS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
