In the 3rd minute of the match, Tage Tidén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillen Mijangos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Per-Arne Vassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Guillen Mijangos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vidal Cantabrana during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vidal Cantabrana hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Behe Haedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Behe Haedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Sillén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute of the game Tobias Berg made a throw-in which Per-Arne Vassenius played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Eriksson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillen Mijangos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillen Mijangos was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Sebastian Eriksson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Eriksson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Bonifacio Morentin fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universitario's protests and gave Bonifacio Morentin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bonifacio Morentin hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes, Oakcroft Thrashers's Tage Tidén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oakcroft Thrashers reached it. Ekialde Viedes's late challenge caught a Oakcroft Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ekialde Viedes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekialde Viedes to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Oakcroft Thrashers's Tage Tidén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 34th minute Sebastian Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Mijangos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillen Mijangos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Guillen Mijangos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Tage Tidén made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Eriksson in the 53rd minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Morentin to maneuver through the defense. Ekialde Viedes lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Oakcroft Thrashers. Tage Tidén stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guillen Mijangos. 5-0. Guillen Mijangos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Tidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behe Haedo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behe Haedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Tage Tidén sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Universitario's Guillen Mijangos didn't even have to move. 69 minutes into the game, Sebastian Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Guillen Mijangos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Morentin to maneuver through the defense. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Eriksson in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Tommy Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Mijangos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Sebastian Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Mijangos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Tidén in the 80th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Eriksson scored 7-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Mijangos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Oakcroft Thrashers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
