Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Txerran started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes CA INCAS got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Erdiano. 4 minutes into the match, Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Txerran. In the 9thth minute of the game Behe Haedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA INCAS's Esteve Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteve Cerilo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Universitario's Behe Haedo. But to his dismay, Behe Haedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio Txerran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guillen Mijangos. That made the score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. Guillen Mijangos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Txerran in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Universitario's Guillen Mijangos got control of the ball when Freddy Vermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Behe Haedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Behe Haedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute of the game Zacarias Erdiano made a throw-in which Freddy Vermudo played forward. 39 minutes into the game, Ekialde Viedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universitario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA INCAS the free kick. Ekialde Viedes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see CA INCAS's Zacarias Erdiano in action when he in the 41st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 46th minute, CA INCAS's Nestor Incendio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nestor Incendio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CA INCAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nestor Incendio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Universitario booed when CA INCAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Incendio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Universitario's Ekialde Viedes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CA INCAS. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 57 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Cueto. Guillen Mijangos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Marino in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to CA INCAS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fabio Txerran hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Fausto Cueto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Behe Haedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behe Haedo got free with Esteve Cerilo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Vermudo in the 77th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, one of CA INCAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Esteve Cerilo, was totally fooled by Universitario's Ekialde Viedes, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 96th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Morentin to maneuver through the defense. CA INCAS's Fabio Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Universitario succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CA INCAS had controlled the match.
