Genaro Gartxot helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio Quentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Gartxot in the 37th minute of play forced 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's goalkeeper Afiq Hongyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Encarale a la gordita's Teobaldo Orlanda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afiq Hongyi. Afiq Hongyi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 47th minute Alexander Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Gartxot got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

After 80 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Orlanda. Alfonso Igon charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Igon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jithu Nagasaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Alexander Tan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Quentin. The goal made the score 2-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Hock got free with Claudio Quentin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Tan Sim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Quentin. The goal made the score 2-9. 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
