Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henk-Jan Slot started the match with the kick off. Miltos Mouratidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. Mario Klompe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marios Kassianidis went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. BE COOL were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Zijdewind SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Makis Zacharatos took the corner. After taking down the ball on BE COOL's corner Makis Zacharatos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mario Klompe quite easily take care of the ball. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Mouratidis in the 17th minute of play. When Henk Zaagman came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Zijdewind SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Zaagman couldn't finish the play. Sotiris Dimitros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kassianidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Kyriakou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk-Jan Slot in the 30th minute of the match. Miltos Mouratidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Klompe having to make a save. Marios Kassianidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. Miltos Mouratidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BE COOL booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiaan Schattenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marios Kassianidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mario Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Klompe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marios Kassianidis's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marios Kassianidis was the one to do the kick off. Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miltos Mouratidis 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when BE COOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustratios Psomiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Sotiris Dimitros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BE COOL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zijdewind SC the free kick. Nikos Kyriakou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Miltos Mouratidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Klompe came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by BE COOL's Eustratios Psomiadis. But to his dismay, Eustratios Psomiadis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Miltos Mouratidis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 78th minute of play forced BE COOL's goalkeeper Nikos Kyriakou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Henk-Jan Slot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustratios Psomiadis in the 81st minute of play. Sotiris Dimitros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Miltos Mouratidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. BE COOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Mouratidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Klompe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Miltos Mouratidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Klompe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustratios Psomiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
