One of Hope AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Encarale a la gordita:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Encarale a la gordita. Esteve Cebrian stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valentin Hâjdău. 0-3. Valentin Hâjdău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teobaldo Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Hope AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Dimo to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Irinel Ciupe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Teobaldo Orlanda advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 40th minute. Sergio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Ciupe made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Blas Erasto. Irinel Ciupe's late challenge caught a Encarale a la gordita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Ciupe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Blas Erasto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Eulalio Weather dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentin Hâjdău, 0-5. The supporters of Encarale a la gordita booed when Hope AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Ciupe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Hâjdău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Weather in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute, Eulalio Weather made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Hâjdău.
