Afiq Hongyi made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Venancio Cesaro sent off a good shot on target. Cementerio Club were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Cesaro took the corner. 11 minutes into the game, Fidel Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Afiq Hongyi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidel Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiq Hongyi having to interfere. Venancio Cesaro scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afiq Hongyi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cementerio Club's Clodoveo Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Ee in the 26th minute of play. Cementerio Club's attentive Filip Szkarpiak managed to snatch the ball when Haziq Chew made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Fidel Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Rico got free with Afiq Hongyi in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Cesaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Rico in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiq Hongyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd match minute, Cementerio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Marin to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Marin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Afiq Hongyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Cesaro in the 67th minute of play. 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's Afiq Hongyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Rico in the 71st minute of play. Venancio Cesaro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Filip Szkarpiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Araoz came free, but Afiq Hongyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Rico struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Afiq Hongyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cementerio Club. After some careless play in the 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 defense, Venancio Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiq Hongyi. The 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiq Hongyi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Rico in the 92nd minute of play forced 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's goalkeeper Afiq Hongyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's Haziq Chew got a free kick in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Rico in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiq Hongyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cementerio Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
