Marcos Sewell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Di Lullo made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Thaddeus Wiley took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aurelio Di Lullo to make any attempt to save it. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Fisher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes of play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Lanny Valle made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Fisher, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Ranieri. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Colin Mock got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alessandro Mascitti hit a great ball. Bobby Fisher was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 24 minutes, Bobby Fisher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobby Fisher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Attilio Fortunato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With his leg Aurelio Di Lullo managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when C. A. Pipon Pipon's Lanny Valle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39 minutes, Marcos Sewell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Pipon Pipon and the Valdieri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Sewell kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Attilio Fortunato to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emiliano Cara hit a great ball. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Pipon Pipon's Thaddeus Wiley. But to his dismay, Thaddeus Wiley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 61st match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Fortunato to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Di Lullo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bobby Fisher's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Emanuele Ranieri kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Rudy Irvin made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thaddeus Wiley however managed to control. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Bobby Fisher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Attilio Fortunato hit a great ball. Bobby Fisher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Valle in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Lancaster in the 86th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Lancaster in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Kerry Lancaster left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Houser in the 95th minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raphael Houser went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. C. A. Pipon Pipon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
